The Facility

Sea Star Stable consists of 3 separate barns and multiple run-in sheds, an indoor arena, an outdoor sand arena, a perimeter trail which is perfect for warming up or cooling out, and we have access to a conditioning field and trails right from the property.
- The indoor arena is a Pavillion structure (similar to Coverall) 70’x140’ with dust free Travel Lite footing from Footing First, a full wall of mirrors, jumps and a stereo system. There is a heated classroom/observation room attached to the indoor for viewing and learning!
- The 100' x 200' outdoor arena is sand with Green Gold Recycleballs surrounded by logs for jumping We do have a few cross country fences around the perimeter of the outdoor arena including 2 banks.
- Newly added in 2021, a fenced-in sand round pen
- New Barn – built in 2007 consists of 6 10x12 matted stalls each with their own individual paddocks, tack room + large aisles.
- Main Barn – the original barn (that has had 2 additions) includes a tack room, 3 stalls plus the SSS horses’ overhang. All stalls are matted and also have direct access to paddocks. There are 6 additional run-in sheds associated with the main barn.
- In 2024, SSS acquired the property at 12 Pine Road adjacent to SSS. We have been busy updating and renovating the "Yellow Barn". It currently has 2 full stalls with direct access to paddocks and 1 large stall which can be used for daily visitors or SSS lesson ponies who might need stall rest. This barn has it's own tack room, and 2 outside grooming/wash stalls.
- An additional shed was added in 2024 fondly referred to as Lusitano Lane. It has 2 lovely private stalls with flat paddocks and a private tack room.
- Fencing is mostly wooden fence rails with electric tape. Horses share large water tubs that are heated in the winter.
