Poco Diablo
Poco and Erin Hankin have been together for almost 5 years- their "anniversary" is Valentine's Day. He was abandoned at the barn she managed in 2003. The barn owner was about to take the people to court when they said they wanted to sell him and pay off what they owed- so she bought him! I didn't know his birthday so I made it May 5th. Cinco de Mayo seemed like a great day for a party. They have done hunters, jumpers, eventing, dressage, and fox hunting- and have multiple wins and day end awards under our belts. Poco has been a lesson horse for kids as young as 4. He loves kids better than he loves his mom! |

He also REALLY loves summer camp. He actually whinnies in his paddock if he isn't included in the fun! They have boarded at a total of 8 barns and are happy to finally call Seastar Stable home! Poco knows 2 tricks- he can take a bow and he lets me brush his teeth with a toothbrush and Tom's of Maine toothpaste. If being messy in his stall is considered a trick then he knows 3! | |
