SSS Assistant Instructor and House Elf Sarah Falk
Sarah came to SSS in 2011 as a student of Kara's and after over a year of observing and coaching from Kara, she has become our assistant instructor. Sarah lives at SSS full time and helps with daily duties as well as teaching lessons.
Sarah has been around horses almost her entire life. Starting around the age of 2, she had her first riding lesson and has been hooked ever since. Sarah has experience in hunter jumpers, where she competed up to the junior equitation level, and more recently has been eventing up to novice level. Starting at the age of 12, Sarah worked with young/inexperienced horses which gave her qualities such as patience and problem solving skills. She was given the opportunity to start teaching around the age of 14 and has thoroughly enjoyed watching the progress and enjoyment of each rider that she has helped since then. Sarah tries to make riding as fun and as positive as possible while developing a good base for correct riding.
