Fieval

Fieval is an 11yr old thoroughbred gelding. He is the "life of the party" here at Sea Star Stable. He is currently completing beginner novice in eventing and first level dressage. Fieval is a very special horse to all of us. He started life as a racehorse, which ended with a fractured cannon bone. During his recovery he was stricken with plural pneumonia. We spent many cold nights struggling with frozen IV antibiotic treatments, Followed by many months of uncertainty as to whether he would ever fully recover. Amazingly enough he recovered well enough to compete the following summer. Despite an additional tibia fracture he is the happiest healthiest horse around. Just be careful of leaving anything out that he might think is a toy. Within seconds he'll be running around the paddock with everything from drills to hammers to small boards. While still competing beginner novice he has started his teaching career working with the intermediate riders in both the ring and on the trails.
